Friends of Wildwood Can Help
Summer Dreams Come True!

Wildwood was one of 22 agencies chosen to participate in the first ever Camp for Kids Program sponsored by the Kansas City Star and 15 local businesses and organizations in the KC Metro Area.  They have created pool of matching funds and will match donations made to the Wildwood Summer Learning Program dollar-for-dollar (up to $1,500) until July 21, 2006.

Want to Participate?

  1. Make your check payable to “Camp for Kids”
  2. Write the name of “Wildwood” in the memo section of your check
  3. Mail your check to:

Help support Wildwood's Summer Learning Program and make a child's dream come true.

   
  Become a Friend
  • $25 - provides crafts for 3 campers for a session
  • $65 - feeds a child for a session of camp
  • $100 - provides swimming lessons for 10 campers
  • $500 - provides new water sports equipment for a summer of camp
  • $750 - provides transportation to and from camp for a busload of campers
  • $2,000 - provides a camp counselor for a summer
  • $5,000 - provides scholarship slots to any summer program for 65 campers

    The Mark and Judy Pallett Scholarship Fund is a not-for-profit endowment established in 2001 to honor Mark and Judy Pallett, Wildwood's first Executive Directors, who served from 1980 until 2001.
