The success of any child’s camping experience depends upon who is leading activities and serving as their cabin counselors. Twenty counselors comprise our summer staff, which allows us to have a 8 to 1 camper-to-staff ratio. Much time is spent searching for those staff with just the right qualities to give campers the best possible experience. Staff members are selected for their maturity, patience, experiences and abilities to work with children. The summer staff is carefully screened and undergoes five full days of professional and in-depth training prior to the beginning of the camp season. A background check is completed on all summer counseling staff.
