Wildwood Outdoor Education Center
Wildwood offers the opportunity to build esteem, develop essential life and interpersonal skills, and maintain/increase academic knowledge in a safe environment—and have fun doing it! In 1980, Bob Allen, Marjorie Powell Allen and Mr. & Mrs. George Powell donated the beautiful 150 acre facility to become Wildwood with a special mission of serving youth from Kansas City's urban core.
Our outstanding programs are one of a kind in the region that is utilized by schools, businesses and families throughout the region. We attribute much of our success to our dedicated, professional staff. This commitment to the Wildwood experience ensures the highest quality programming and facilities.
Wildwood is located at 7095 W. 399th St., LaCygne, KS 66040 which is approximately 35 miles south of I-435 on 69 highway or 16 miles south of Louisburg, KS.
